Free to be a Child of God

So if the Son liberates you [makes you free men], then you are really and unquestionably free. (John 8:36).
And just in case you didn't understand ...
Jesus said, “I tell you most solemnly that anyone who chooses a life of sin is trapped in a dead-end life and is, in fact, a slave. A slave is a transient, who can’t come and go at will. The Son, though, has an established position, the run of the house. So if the Son sets you free, you are free through and through...”
(John 8:36).
Free to love as He loves. To be guided by His Holy Spirit as He is. Free to be a child of God ...

November Update

Malachi

Malachi Benjamin Stanway continues to grow bigger and stronger every day. As soon as we have his exact weight we will tell you but Israel and Stephanie estimate that he has now passed the 10 lbs (4.5 kgs) mark!

Men's Breakfast
Aglow for Men is growing tremendously in Scotland. On Thursday November 1st there was an awesome breakthrough prayer meeting in Stewarton Ayrshire.
Why not come along to the Men's Breakfast (with a full cooked breakfast) on December 1st at 9.45am in Park Hotel, Rugby Park, Kilmarnock KA1 1UR. Cost £10. Speakers are Angus McAulay (National Adviser for Aglow Britain) and Nonnie McVeigh (National President of Aglow International Britain). Contact Helen Hunter for booking and details..... This is the time for Christian men in Scotland to rise-up and take their positions within their families and communities. Come along and be part of this mighty move of God!

McKenzie's Companion Comments

Tommy Thomson says....."I have currently just completed chapter 5 of 'McKenzie's Companion'. This is an excellent book where Pastor Peter Stanway takes you around the world sharing in McKenzie’s adventures coupled with a Biblical study.
McKenzie is a James Bond type character, who sometimes reflects on his religious roots. I cannot recommend the book too highly for it stretches you to think about your own life whilst also being hugely entertaining.
I have one copy of the original McKenzie book without the study, if anyone is interested I will let you have it for free, hopefully to whet your appetite. If you wish to obtain a copy of the combined book and study guide it is available for only £9.99 plus postage from http://www.peterstanwaybooks.com/buy.html and if you'd like to join in the study that would be even better, contact me (TommyThomson).
Please think about it and may God bless you....."

Part James Bond - Part St. Augustine 27 Oct 2012
By international77
"This is a fantastic book but I must correct something that the author wrote. In the forewor
d he states that, with 50 chapters, you can read one a week for a year. I don't see how. I couldn't put it down and read it in one go! It's part James Bond and part The Confessions of St. Augustine and part the travels of the Apostle Paul. Thanks Peter for such a riveting read. Still thinking about it and pondering the lessons and stories in it.
I think the book is a classic! So well written and strategically done."
