New Books Publisher in the USA

RevMedia Publishing, the original publisher of my books, have new teamed-up with Whitaker House, a traditional international Christian books publisher and together they have formed Banner Books.
To help launch and market two of my books, they have completely changed the book covers and dropped the word 'wee' from the original title of 'Wee Boys from Glasgow Don't Cry'. The other title that Whitaker House have taken on is, 'Who is McKenzie?' which they are calling, 'a novel'.
You can read more about Whitaker House here.

Kilcreggan House is Sold!

On April 22nd 2014, The Way Christian Ministries' (TheWayCM's) ministry base, Kilcreggan House, was sold. On the same day, Nancy and I moved into our our new Scottish base in Largs, North Ayrshire.

This past month has been very busy but we are well on the way to settling in. We are delighted with the way God has blessed us. It is taking time to adjust to our different surroundings but every day we sense that we are making progress with the transition.
The focus of the work of TheWayCM will continue to be on 'Making Disciples Out of Christians' with the emphasis on developing the creative element of our Training for Life course. We aim to do this at local, national and international levels.
One way of doing this will be to offer limited places at our Creative Masterclasses where we will help candidates to 'Let Their Artist Out!'.
It is also our aim to work with our Apostolic Teams in the nations where TheWayCM is now strongly established and to release the creativity that is in them. We hope to build an international platform for their creative work, to showcase it and, in turn, develop a funding stream through their work back into the work of the ministry in their own country.
We want to thank everyone who has prayed and supported us throughout this time on our journey. We truly appreciate all that you have done. We hope and pray that we can depend upon you to continue to stand with us as we move into the next phase of our lives and ministry.....

Latest Paintings

Latest paintings:

These two paintings are the third and fourth in a series called 'Elemental'. I have restricted the palette to the three main primary colours (red, yellow and blue) plus black and white as well as using some collage.

My aim was to explore successive layers of paint and paper, building and dismantling over time, in a mostly random way much like what would happen if the canvas was exposed to the elements..... - See more at:

80's Rock and Pop Photos

Peter hitch-hiking in Italy in the late 1970s
My journey into adulthood took me to the Glasgow School of Art where I studied Fine Art and Mixed Media. I was disillusioned there by the pervading apathy among the students. After leaving Art School, my life journey took me into a career as a photographer.  In the early 1980's I set-up my first professional studio in Glasgow and quickly progressed from general photography to working mainly with the pop/rock culture in the UK and with the mainstream London-based music tabloids; Sounds, Melody Maker, Smash Hits and Noise, etc., often covering their main feature for the front and centre pages.

Altogether, I worked with over five-hundred different bands including some famous bands like; Spandau Ballet, U2, Simple Minds, Haircut 100, The Bluebells, Altered Images, Culture Club, Toyah, UB40, Marillion, The Clash, The Jam and many Indie and Punk bands like, The Fall, The Exploited, Blancmange, The Anti-Nowhere League, The Birthday Party, The Associates  to name a few. The Arts Council exhibited my work throughout the UK under the title of, 'Scotland's Top Rock and Pop Photographer'.
